Onomatopoeia and a Special Visitor

Shared writing by Room One

W.A.L.T: Use onomatopoeia
S.C: To think and use the words that sound like the action they do.

Whoosh = tail wagging
Pant, pant
Slurp, slurp = licking
Boing, boing = jumping
Chomp, chomp = nibbling on fingers

Sniff, sniff, Rosie smelled the children in Room One and the blue tarpaulin.
Scratch, scratch, Rosie's claws rattled on the tarpaulin.
Slurp, slurp Rosie licked Ben S's ear. it felt slimy.
Chomp, chomp, crunch, crunch Rosie's busy nibbling on socks and fingers and the blue tarpaulin.
