Constable Louise visits again - Room 1 and 3's Internet Rules

We had Constable Louise come and visit with Room One and Three again today, we watched the Bryan and Bobby DVDs again and came up with ideas in pairs to create our class rules. We decided that having the same rules in both classes was the best choice.

Room One and Three’s Internet Safety Rules

T - Think about how it makes you feel.

A - Ask is it good or bad, do I need to get a grown up?

R - Remember:

• don’t give out pesonal informtion (name, address, password. etc).
• never meet anyone from on the Internet.

2/ Always use your manners

• talk to each other like you want to be talked to.
• anything you put there will be there FOREVER.
• if someone is mean to you, don’t reply, tell someonoe.

3/ Keep your computer somewhere that it can be seen (a family room or our classroom).

4/ Always ask a grown up if you can use the computer or are going somewhere new.

5/ People aren’t always who they say they are - how can you check?

6/ If in doubt - ASK a grown up for help!!!
